About the Food Expeditor Position
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and passionate worker to join our team as a Food Expeditor. As a Food Expeditor, you’ll serve as the point of communication between servers and kitchen staff. You’ll ensure that orders get to customers in a timely manner while also confirming that everything on their plate is correct and ready to go.
To succeed as a Food Expeditor, you’ll need excellent multitasking skills on top of having a cool and collected mindset in a fast-paced environment.
Food Expeditor Responsibilities
- Assist in communication between the kitchen and servers by calling out orders, checking on the status of food, and sharing information about food requests or out-of-stock items
- Manage the flow of orders, making sure all are prepared in a timely manner
- Oversee dishes before they leave the kitchen, ensuring they meet restaurant standards
- Make finishing touches to dishes, such as adding garnish or removing smudges
- Enforce health and safety regulations
- Work with customers on food-related complaints
- Assist with other jobs as needed in the kitchen, including cleaning activities and taking inventory
Food Expeditor Requirements
- [1+] years experience of Food Expeditor experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Working knowledge of restaurant health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills, particularly while working in a fast-paced environment
- Superb customer service and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time while carrying [20+] pounds

- Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
- Variable-hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

Holiday Pay:
