Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, possess exceptional customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by crafting exquisite cocktails, providing personalized service, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Mixology Expertise: Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks with precision and creativity, adhering to established recipes and standards of quality.

Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly, engaging manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Anticipate guests' needs and exceed their expectations through attentive service.

Bar Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to replenish stock.

Teamwork: Work closely with other members of the bar and restaurant staff to provide seamless service and create a cohesive team environment. Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive work culture.

Upselling and Revenue Generation: Utilize product knowledge and sales techniques to upsell premium beverages, promote specials, and maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Experience: Bartending experience required.

Customer Focus: Dedication to providing outstanding hospitality, with excellent communication skills, attentiveness, and the ability to build rapport with guests.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Professionalism: Impeccable grooming and presentation, along with a commitment to upholding the standards and reputation of Coeur d'Alene Resort.

  • Full Time Employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment
  • Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
  • Variable hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

401K Plan:

  • Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • 50% match up to a 4% contribution from the team member.

PTO:

  • 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
  • 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

  • Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
