Job Summary
Responsible for being the face of the institution, helping guests find attractions and places of interest, as well as maintaining a directory of names and numbers that can facilitate any challenging and unique requests.
The concierge is a key part of making the stay or travel of our guests memorable.
Full and part-time positions available.
Essential Functions
- Booking Guest reservations for dining, golf, restaurants, and activities.
- Processing tickets for cruises, events and issuing gift cards.
- Answering all inquiries for directions and upcoming events.
- Assisting Guests with copies, faxes and shipping needs.
- Must be able to operate a copier, fax machine, scanner, printer, and have computer knowledge.
Job Requirements
- A positive and congenial attitude is foremost.
- Find joy in assisting people of all ages, from small children to seniors.
- Must be patient and have the ability to defuse an upset Guest.
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of Guests and have a high-stress tolerance, capable of reading and reciting a large volume of information.
- Work independently and initiate work duties, be cognizant of time and accomplish goals in a timely manner. Lift 20 lbs and to be able to bend low and reach high.
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly in order to answer up to 40 phone calls per hour, have basic math and accounting skills with computer usage.
- Type 45 words per minute with proofreading ability, have organizational skills and legible handwriting.
- Prefer some knowledge of the Coeur d’Alene and North Idaho area or willing to study and experience activities on your own time.

- Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
- Variable-hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.
401K Plan:
- Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
- 2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.
PTO:
- 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
- 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
- 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
- 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)
Holiday Pay:
- Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
